That picture brings back memories of my 79. It looked very much like that one. I had vetter fairing and bates bags and trunk. I remember how light it felt and how you could almost throw it around compared to the 1500 I got after it.

That bike was the last bike I got a speeding ticket on and it was over 20 years ago. I can't explain it, The cops just don't seem to pay attention to my 1500 when I had that or my current 1800. Maybe it's my riding thats changed...

That is one great looking GL1100. I remember my 1982 Aspencade and my first new Gold Wing.

They almost always die due to left hand turners...Had my V65 Magna die the same way 23 years ago.

Wish I still had that bike, my motorcycling may have been vastly different from what I've done so far.

I think hubby is a bit BSC for wanting you to get rid of that...

Nice..... very nice!

Gotta take a pass on the offer, garage is full right now, and wifey might have a bit too say about that I think.

That 1100 looks just like my dear old '82, which was wrecked out from under me back in 2000. :'(

Ditto. I had a lot of sweat-equity in my 81 that was gone in a second early last year. >

My 76 LTD I run with all the time
I own a 1500, had a 1500 years ago and got rid of it.
Went to Arkansas 2 years ago and Nebraska last year.
Check out an LTD 2000 of them built.
Wheels and spokes were anodized gold colored finish, so no rusting
Chrome side stand, and other bits.
It is still my choice
Going to make my present 1500 a trike.
84 years old and cant handle 1000 pounds of weight
