    Buzz in cruse control

I posted this on another board and received some suggestions. None of them seemed to help so I'm posting it here hoping someone has an idea before I take it in to my local dealer along with a bucket of money for them to fix it.

    2006 GL1800 with 110,000 miles.

I have a bad buzz in both the headset and speakers when radio is on and you turn on the cruse control. Buzz is there in all radio modes; Aux, FM, & AM.. It is much to loud to ignore.

In an effort to fix it myself I have done the following.

Removed, cleaned, soldered G1 under tank. New 5mm longer bolt so I could run a 14ga wire from G1 directly to battery negative side. Ohm to zero.

Contact cleaner on both gray & black cruse control connectors. Also on small lower black connector.

    Ferrites on all wires.

Shielded the cruse control module with aluminum foil that I grounded.

Removed, cleaned and reinstalled right side engine ground. Torqued

Removed, cleaned and reinstalled left side engine ground. Added a 14ga wire directly to battery negative side. Torqued

Installed new battery. Cleaned and tightened connections. Used some star washers on bolts to insure good connection.

    New spark plugs. Torqued

    Anyone have any other ideas?

Lewis might have an idea. He's close if you can catch him in.

I talked with him. His only suggestion was to re-do G1 Which I did.
